Come inside and have a

Martha
and Terri said send it to the list
but Sue said for me to desist
=====
Michael
when
he performs
he
really does uplift
he really has
an amazing gift
the songs the words oh the feelings
his talents just have no ceilings
his voice is like a boat
upon which our hearts can float
he makes you laugh he makes you cry
he even makes our souls to fly.
P S at this poetry I'm no good
but this once I thought I should.
if Sue sees this I will get a clout
That's for sure and that's no doubt
See ya,
Bernie

CONVERSION
is this good or does it stink
let me know what you think
oh what joy MB does bring
that man can really sing
one careful owner was the start
that just opened up my heart
at first I didn't want to know
then I went to Dublin to see a show
appreciate the music and words I can
wasn't sure because I'm a man
HELP! I think I've become a FAN
Love,
B

hi
everybody - happy new year. I have not posted for a while - Sue does
not like it too
much
in case I show her up. I sent this to Martha, I know its bad but I
use her as a yardstick.
I
sent her this little poem, she said send it to the list . Sue said
don't be daft, so I deliberated, and waited till she was out - chicken
ain't I?
I
make her out to be an ogre she says - but she isn't she is lovely.

you
had a rough day and just feel like whining
play a MB CD soon the sun will be shining
voice and moves like a velvet glove
could it be an angel from above.
its just the man we've all come to love
with sounds that are so hard to match
one moment with Michael we'd all like to snatch

MB
sounds and emotions.
Fill you with all kinds of notions,
You think of travel and of oceans.
Over which you can glide,
Snow capped mountains where you slide.
Down the valley up the hills,
Oh the sound that really thrills.
Past the rushing flashing trees,
It just makes you weak at the knees.
Got to go now ~all the best,
B

Journeys
with MB
journeys on which we are taken
always stirred and sometimes shaken.
from Gethsemane, blues brothers, hot stuff
with Michael the going is certainly not tuff
songs, music, and emotions
you think of travel and of oceans
over which you can glide
snow capped mountains where you can slide.
through the valleys up the hills.
oh the sound that really thrills
down the slopes through the trees
on you go feel the breeze
you go to a show with your heart a breakin
the show is over your troubles forsaken
it just makes you weak at the knees
love is all you need
Bye,
Bernie

MB
Songs
Songs of love and of beauty,
all the girls think he's a cutie.
songs of fun and drama,
sometimes the words just pierce your armor.
other songs are really grand,
sometimes quiet but never bland.
then we get the upbeat rockers,
none he sings are ever shockers.
there are songs of love and of grace,
we all rate them because they're ace.
Now girls (and Dave, Jay. Mark and any other fellas)
is this sad
or is this bad
or does it really make you glad?!!

thanks
and some more again
she will go mad, I cant stop.
I believe I can fly
when
I hear those sounds I know why
take my breath away
as your songs begin to play
all for nothing
were all longing
in this life
God gave my wife
give me love
like an angel from above
from here to eternity
she is my only certainty
for MB who is great
and Sue who is my mate

this
poem was inspired by my wife and her friends,
franticly
wheeling dealing, doing
anything to get tickets for MB concerts.
=====
guess who is doing a show
you just know you have to go
music and songs like milk and honey
somehow you will get the money
anytime any season
to heck with what is called normal reason
winter spring summer or fall
Michael will fill any hall
we have seen the crowds at the gate
to that we can all relate
at the work place short and snappy
come out of the show feeling happy
see ya all ~ love is forever

hi
Jackie do you think that I am daft or its some kind of bug
=====
fields of green fields of gold
songs that are new songs that are old
to mention but a few
like an intoxicating brew
fast rivers racing
to the front we are facing
waiting anticipating the gentle storm to come
expecting and feeling the ever present hum
can you feel your heart shaking
almost like the earth when its quaking
that's all, I think I should give up don't you
all
my love,
Bernie

sue
said not to bother it looks like we are going for list domination but
myself and some one
else far more versed in poetry said to send it but sue holds back more than
me in general we are a good balance so here goes
MICHAEL
a
man for all seasons
when I first heard you sing
you made me think of spring
snowdrops budding flowers
I could listen for hours
a gentle stream a cascading river
thawing my heart making it melt and quiver
birds chorus in the trees
a soft blowing gentle breeze
awaiting the splendor of glorious summer fun
out door concerts in the warmth of the sun
autumn takes hold
changing brown leaves in to gold
through then to winter chill frost and snow
logs on the fire bring a special glow
cracking and popping warmth surrounding caressing
all of these things a god given blessing
this started out just talking about things that we like and sue goes for a
walk most days through the botanic gardens which are near where we live and
she was saying the snowdrops were coming up and things
anyway,

hi
everyone, it's Bernie.
well
Dave said that I was writing a poem about Birmingham
so
can't let him down.
I enjoyed meeting you mate and as per usual your revue was great.
=====
Michael
ball at the symphony hall
went with the girls - wow!!
expecting to see a great show
sue, sue may, ros, jinty, janine
hope you all see now just what I mean
went to see the man with hair an voice of gold
don't know how many tickets he alone must have sold
Michel le grand and all that stuff
alright but for me not nearly enough
we were all waiting for the Michael who's really GRAND
recognized at the very best throughout the land
the crystal notes the sounds awww the voice
there really could be no other choice
Michael relaxed tanned and looking sharp
sounds could have come from an angel with his harp
the atmosphere filled with sounds sublime
the performance so short it was almost a crime
the lyrics the passion we were all blown awww
just check it all out with susan may.
even now she isn't really speaking
just making noises her friends think she's freaking.
only kidding Sue enjoyed your company and all of the others that I met
including Linda and her mum, Maureen, Gill and husbands love to you all

Hi
everybody in MB land - much better than I have given rave revue's of that
superb show in Birmingham. I cant add to the reports - there are just not
enough superlatives to describe that man, so I thought a poem might be in
order. it is a poem that Sue and I wrote together. so here goes.
=====

you made me think of spring

I just really enjoyed meeting everybody at Birmingham and hope to meet more
of you all in the near future. time to go now - quit while I'm ahead

we
have been to see a show down in Brum
now its up to Edinburgh that we all come
am I going with all my sisters
oh no just a bunch of Michael Ball listers
Sue said we've left it too late there will be no seat
I said don't be daft its Michael my dear we won't be beat
is it far by rail road or car
I ask do we care we just follow our star
they are all hoping he will wear his kilt
I'm driving best not be late or my blood will be spilt
we are off to see the Michael hungry jocks
we know he sings ballads and oh how he rocks
Michael ball fan club has turned stranger to friend
bonds have been forged that will just never end
I don't know think I'm going off my head
just know on Michael stuff we spend lots of bread
special thanks to Maureen and gill for the hours they spend
seeking the information to share save and send
friends in America, Australia, Germany you know
because Michael has spread a big world wide glow
you have all guessed by now that we are of to Scotland next week maybe we
will meet some more of you there
love,
Bernie
